AdRoll raises US $70m in funding round to expand internationally

The retargeting platform AdRoll has announced a US $70 million funding round, led by Foundation Capital. Performance Equity, Glenmede and Northgate were some of the investors that participated, along with first-time investor Institutional Venture Partners. Eric Liaw of IVP will join AdRoll’s board as an observer.

AppNexus releases new software¨Twixt¨to support direct deals

AppNexus, the programmatic ad platform, is planning to go after the other side of digital advertising: the direct deal, Ad Age has reported. To do so, the company has added a new software, Twixt, which is aimed to streamline negotiations that occurs over email and phone, prior to the execution of a digital ad buy.

Comscore expands Cross-Platform Measurement Service in partnership with CIMM

ComScore, in collaboration with the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM), will expand its cross-platform measurement service. The industry will provide unified measurement of media usage on a national scale across TV, radio, desktop, smartphone and tablet. This will allow media companies, marketers and advertising agencies to experience the service for their brands as well as opening participation from CIMM member companies in addition to non-CIMM members.
