Marcos oversees editorial and sales. He is based in Portada's NYC headquarters. Prior to launching Portada in 2003, Marcos worked in both the media and finance sectors. He occupied leading roles at the Spanish edition of The Wall Street Journal, in Spain’s newspaper Cinco Dias and at SwissRe. He is an MBA, and a CFA. Marcos is a print junkie and also loves all things digital media. He also is passionate about everything related to New York City and loves to play tennis.

Janet has worked as editor and translator since 2013. After graduating with honors when receiving her Bachelor's Degree in English literature, she began working as a book reviewer for Expansión, the leading business magazine in Mexico. She has also worked as editor of young adult literature for publishing houses like Planeta and Penguin, and she's the author of a book of short stories. She's in the process of getting her MA in English at McGill University. Her interests include arts, good food, and her 8 pets.

Mark A. Browne is Portada's Marketing Innovation Editor. He is a bilingual (English-Spanish) writer, media relations manager, and content creation professional with an established record providing journalism, copywriting and analytical content services to major publishers, PR agencies and businesses in the United States, Latin America and Europe. His award-winning career as a reporter and editor includes daily and weekly newspaper experience and freelance writing for major print and online publications.
Travel Marketing Board Chair
Trip Barrett is Portada's Head of Travel and Hospitality Content. In this role, he leads an advisory board of marketing executives from the leading companies in the Americas. Trip is a Global Marketing, Brand Management and New Business Initiatives Leader with extensive experience in the Hospitality and Tourism, E-Commerce, and Entertainment Industries across Latin America, Asia and Europe in addition to the United States. Trip was with Starwood Hotels & Resorts for 13 years as Vice President of Brand Management for Latin America. He spent three years with Amazon as Director of International Business Development in Seattle, and eight years with the Walt Disney Company based in Mexico City, Miami, Buenos Aires and Hong Kong. He is an avid traveler and has lived and worked in 9 countries on 4 continents; He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Ximena is a Swiss-Mexican journalist based in Mexico City where she specialized in business, and travel topics. Graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), she has worked as an editor at the magazines Expansión , Aire and Accent, from Expansion Group. Currently she is working with different media in Spanish and English independently. She is a passionate traveler who does not miss the opportunity to see a new place in the world.

Isabel is a young and experienced professional with a demonstrated record of success in the management consulting industry. Passionate about marketing, sales, innovation, entrepreneurship and new business development, she holds a BA in International Relations and an MBA focused in Marketing, Strategic Planning and Operations.

Celeste joined Portada’s team in 2013.Since then,she has been working as an editor for Portada’s English-language website andcompiling information for Portada’s Databases. She moved to Buenos Aires to study Scientific, Technical and Literary Translation in English. She is currently living in the Belgrano neighborhood. Celeste is very outgoing and sociable. She enjoys travelling abroad, especially if she has the opportunity to meet new people and put her English skills into practice.

Job Mojica has over 12 years of experience in visual communication. He has worked with diverse types of clients, fulfilling their design needs from logos and brand design all the way to comprehensive marketing campaigns. He adds a minimalist and elegant style to each design, and he spends his free time watching cult films and listening to podcasts.

Abigail has been in charge of the design department with several clients and also in retail store product’s production.
