Alfonso Cueto has been promoted to vice president of multimedia sales for ESPN in Miami, the Miami Herald reports. Cueto will be responsible for ESPN’s ad sales multicultural initiatives out of the Miami office, with a focus on the U.S. Hispanic market and will continue to lead the Latin American pan regional advertising deals that come from outside of Latin America. Prior to this position, Cueto was senior director of multimedia ad sales ESPN International.
Kaspersky Lab has named Claudio Martinelli Director for Latin America. Martinelli will handle the newly formed business region, becoming the the company’s 7th.
Jorge Carrera was named general creative director of Publimark MullenLowe, the company’s subsidiary in Costa Rica. Carrera was previously CCO of Leo Burnett in San Jose, where he has been working as an editor since he joined the company in 2012. Carrera is a native of Mexico.
Armando Strozenberg has been appointed president of the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies, a position he will hold until mid-2017. Strozenberg will replace Orlando Marques.
Lloyd’s, the world’s specialist insurance and reinsurance market,appoints Daniel Revilla as Head of Latin America responsible for enhancing business relationships and trading rights across the region for the benefit of the Lloyd’s market.He will also assume the role of Country Manager for Mexico and will be based in Mexico City.
