Austin's Ahora Sí! (weekly, Cox Newspapers, circ. 20,000, Spanish), Houston's La Vibra (weekly entertainment paper, Impremedia, published by The Houston Chronicle, circ. 100,000, Spanish) and La Voz (weekly, Hearst Newspapers, circ. 100,000, Spanish) and San Antonio's Conexión (weekly, Hearst, circ. 50,000, bilingual) created an ad-sales network to increase national and regional advertising with one-stop buys. Print ad-sales representation firm Metrosuburbia will sell advertising for the four newspapers. San Antonio, Houston and Austin have a combined Hispanic population of 2.2 million, and a purchasing power of US $50.3 billion, according to a 2004 Synovate study.
