Buchanan’s Pineapple (750ml; 35% ABV) is a permanent addition to the Buchanan’s Whisky portfolio and will be available for purchase online and in retail stores nationwide wherever fine spirits are sold beginning February 1, 2023, with a suggested retail price of US$29.99.

Omnichannel media agency Assembly has been named the Media Agency of Record for global investment management firm, T. Rowe Price. Assembly will lead T. Rowe Price’s omnichannel media program across the U.S., with a focus on driving value across their full product set to both new and existing customers and delivering an overall more integrated customer experience. “As the media landscape has evolved, our own media programs have become far more complex, driving the need to develop a more tailored roadmap to ensure we’re being thoughtful, impactful, and future-ready,” said Theresa McLaughlin, T. Rowe Price Head of Global Marketing. “Through their detailed and integrated approach, Assembly has shown it can help us effectively navigate this complexity and elevate our brand engage with our customers across in new and creative ways.” Assembly’s appointment is effective January 2023.

  • Flagship Food Group/Yucatan Foods


Denver-based Flagship Food Group  Flagship Food Group has acquired guacamole and dip producer Yucatan Foods, for an undisclosed sum.Yucatan makes guacamole and salsa products under its Yucatan and Cabo Fresh lines for retail stores across U.S. and Canada. The acquisition includes Yucatan’s 97,000-sq.-ft. processing facility in Silao, Mexico.. Hispanic and Southwestern food products company Flagship produces tortillas, tortilla chips, salsa, green chile and frozen Mexican food products, under brands including 505 Southwestern, La Tortilla Factory, Hatch Kitchen and Lilly B’s. With the acquisition, Flagship hopes to strengthen its position in the guacamole category. Flagship operates manufacturing and distribution facilities in Colorado, Kansas, California, New Mexico, and Mexico. The company claims to be the largest flame roaster of Hatch Valley green chiles in the world, and its brands include 505 Southwestern jarred green chile; La Tortilla Factory tortillas; Hatch Kitchen frozen burritos and Lilly B’s frozen quesadillas; and Young Guns foodservice-distributed Hatch Valley green chile. Other brands include TJ Farms, Mama Lupes and Select New Mexico.

  • Constellation Brands

Constellation Brands put its media agency assignment on review, Mediapost reported. Horizon has been the incumbent on the business since 2009 when Constellation Brands was still known as Crown Imports. The company’s media expenditures totaled US $594 million for the annual period ending June 2022 according to agency research firm COMvergence. That total includes US $386 million pegged to traditional media and $208 million earmarked for digital.

 

 

  • Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts has named Leo Burnett as its new lead creative AOR. This decision comes after Anomaly was named Agency of Record in November 2021.According to Adweek, which reported the move, this decision comes on the heels of the September promotion of Jill McVicar Nelson to CMO. Dunkin’ Donuts is owned by Inspire Brands, which also owns Arby’s, Sonic and Buffalo Wild Wings, in late 2020.
