Busca Corp. to sell CBS Interactive’s Latin American traffic

CBS Interactive has made a business agreement with Busca Corp. to monetize their traffic from Latin America .Through this agreement, Busca Corp. will have exclusive representation of CBS interactive in Latin America and will offer more than 30 premium digital properties from the network in the region. Tribune Publishing spins off, which Newspapers will it acquire?

The Tribune Co. completed the spinoff of its newspaper business and changed its name to Tribune Media Company separating its broadcasting and entertainment assets from the Chicago Tribune,  Los Angeles Times , six other daily newspapers as well as the Spanish-language daily (Chicago) and weekly (Los Angeles) Hoy and associated Hispanic properties. Jack Griffin, CEO of Tribune Publishing, last week said that the “the overarching objective of his company “is to reestablish growth in the top line revenue”. That includes acquiring newspapers. But which ones?

Google adds live-streaming company Twitch to its video empire

Google is about to buy game-livestreaming firm Twitch for US $1 billion. Although further terms of the deal were not disclosed, the acquisition will definitely  expand Google’s video ad inventory beyond YouTube. The deal underlines the value of live Internet streaming and the rise of competitive gaming as a spectator sport — something that attracts millions of viewers and provides millionaire opportunities for advertisers.
