Havas Worldwide Colombia has appointed Socorro Jaramillo as president of the agency in the country. The executive will be in charge of the three offices in Colombia: Bogotá, Medellín and Cali. Jaramillo has previously worked for TBWA Colombia as general manager. She has also worked for Newlink Group in Miami and has more than 30 years´experience.

JWT Brazil has appointed new executives to handle Ford account. Paula Peres is the new CRM account director and Dorian Dack is the new strategy director for the Ford account. Sergio Silveira continues as director of the account.

 

Agency MEC has appointed José Miranda in the role of Regional Director for Analytics & Insights. José Miranda will be based in Miami and will report directly to Michael Jones, CEO, MEC Latin America. Portada talked with Miranda on his appointment.

 

David Rubin has been appointed head of brand of Pinterest. Rubin has worked for Unilever for 15 years as marketing VP. According to Pinterest, Rubin will be in charge of reaching the male audience.

 

José Cardelli has founded Abrazo, a new agency in Argentina. The agency will produce content and media strategy for brands.

 

D-link has appointed André Marchiori as its new president for Latin America.

 

 

descargaAlejandro Ortega has joined multinational media company Zoomin.TV as the Sales Director. In this newly created position, Alejandro will lead the growth of Zoomin.TV’s Miami office, part of a larger global growth plan in the Americas. Alejandro will be responsible for building relationships with media agencies and direct advertisers in Miami and across Latin America, to monetize Zoomin.TV’s video content and expand the video ad network. Prior to joining Zoomin.TV, Alejandro was most recently the Managing Director, United States & Latin America at Mobeleader. He is also a member of IAB’s Digital Video Committee in Spain.
