John Fitzgerald has been named the VP of Sales of the ESPN Deportes TV Network.

Telemundo announced that Pilar Lamadrid has been named Vice President of Specials. Lamadrid will report to Derek Bond, SEVP, Studios, Production & Broadcast Operations.

El Latino has hired Mike Cano as publisher. Cano will be responsible for the daily operations of El Latino. He has worked and led the Hispanic strategies of some of the nation's largest media companies.

Discovery Communications has promoted Todd Zander to vice president, Digital Media Distribution. Zander reports to Rebecca Glashow, senior vice president of Digital Media Distribution.

TBWA Worldwide has announced the appointment of Gary Wenzel as President, TBWAWorldHealth.

SpotXchange announced that video ad industry veteran, Bryon Evje, has been hired to run sales and business development.  Bryon comes to SpotXchange from Broadband Enterprises where he served as Chief Operating Officer and later President of Products & Technology.

Beth Harris, former executive director of marketing for Disney ABC Television Group's business development and digital media division, has been appointed senior vice president and director of entertainment for Ketchum Sports and Entertainment (KSE).
