US Media, a media solutions company in Latin America, and Vevo, a major music video network with a worldwide presence, announced their partnership in advertising sales today. Under this agreement, US Media will be the Latin American sales representative for Vevo advertising inventory in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru. US Media will also sell on behalf of Vevo pan-regionally from Miami.

The alliance between US Media and Vevo underscores the potential within the audiovisual market. With an extensive library of over 800,000 music videos and distribution across 35 global connected TV (CTV) platforms, Vevo, in collaboration with major players like YouTube, Google TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, and Samsung TV, opens avenues for brands to engage with Latin American music enthusiasts. This partnership offers a unique opportunity to connect with audiences through video content featuring influential regional artists such as KAROL G, Shakira, J Balvin, Anitta, Feid, Dilsinho, and Los Ángeles Azules.

Two talents come together

Vevo is a multinational ad-supported music video network, maintaining the largest network of music video channels on YouTube, as well as a free application and linear channels available on smart TVs and other CTV services. In Latin America, Brazil and Mexico are the largest markets for Vevo, with over 76 million and 58 million monthly viewers respectively.

US Media offers exclusivity services to agencies and advertisers in media and platforms such as Tinder, WeTransfer, TechTarget, Fandom and Sojern. Vevo joins as the sixth direct ad sales partner of US Media in Latin America, strengthening its portfolio.

Vevo-US Media Consulting: music videos are “a powerful, effective environment to connect with millions of consumers”

Bruno Almeida, CEO of US Media, commented: “Joining forces with Vevo, a brand that accumulates more than 25 billion monthly views, significantly amplifies the possibilities for our clients in advertising. This alliance represents a strategic advancement that leverages Vevo’s immense reach and quality of content.”

“Music videos offer advertisers a powerful, effective environment to connect with millions of consumers, and Vevo is home to this art form featuring the world’s largest stars, from Latin music icons to the newest trendsetters,” said Rob Christensen, EVP, Global Sales, Vevo. “With US Media, advertisers now have easy, direct access to buy Vevo’s sought-after content, including the most anticipated premieres, beloved throwbacks, original content, and live performances. We are excited to work with a new ad sales partner located in the region, with local expertise and relationships, that match our continued Latin growth.”

Betting on Latin music

“Vevo’s monetization efforts in this region reflect the strength and breadth of our offering, with Latin music being one of the most watched genres on our network. From Brazilian funk to regional Mexican to reggaeton, fans can enjoy a variety of Latin artists on Vevo,” added JP Evangelista, SVP, Content, Programming & Marketing, Vevo. “Additionally, we are expanding Vevo’s CTV programming and distribution footprint throughout Latin America to deliver the music video experience on the largest screen in the home.
