Smartclip, the multi-screen video platform, has announced the appointment of Pedro da Luz as its new Country Manager in Mexico. Prior to joining Smartclip, da Luz worked for HAVAS Mexico and Portugal, Mediacom Portugal and Initiative Argentina.
Zohar Plan is the new managing director of MediaCom Chile.Plan joined MediaCom in 2012 as regional digital director for the P&G LatAm account. Plan has worked for accounts such as Carrefour, L’Oréal , Santander Rio, Alfa Romeo and 3M.
Llorente & Cuenca has appointed María Esteve as number 23th firm partner. Esteve, managing director Of LLORENTE & CUENCA Colombia, joined the Firm in 2013 as the managing director of the Colombian operation and leads a team of 30 professionals in the market.
Twitter Brazil has appointed Fiamma Zarife as the new managing director for the country.Zarife will lead Twitter’s Brazilian business and replace Guilherme Ribenboim, who will remain at the firm as president for the Latin America region.Ribenboim will also be the global lead for client solution development, based out of New York.Fiamma Zarife joined Twitter in July 2015. Previously, she served as VP of content and services for Samsung in Latin America.
Robert Senior, global chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi since 2015, is stepping down and will be replaced by Magnus Djaba, UK chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi Fallon.
Djaba takes on the newly created role of global president, overseeing the network of 130 offices with 6,500 employees. He will work alongside global chairwoman and chief creative officer Kate Stanners and global chief strategy officer David Hackworthy.
David Lynn has been appointed president and CEO of Viacom International Media Networks.
