Flint Group has announced that Claudio Labbe, President, Flint Group Latin America will retire from the company with effect from July 1st 2012. Labbe started up operations in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile. In 2004 he was named Vice President for Sales and Marketing Latin America and in February 2008 was promoted to the position of President Latin America.

After 5 months, Yahoo's chief executive Scott Thompson has resigned from his position.  Thompson is to be replaced on a temporary basis by Ross Levinsohn, head of global media, who will act as interim chief executive.

Questions over Thomspon’s qualifications emerged at the start of this month when activist shareholder Daniel Loeb of hedge fund Third Point accused Thompson of adding a bogus bachelor's computer science degree to his CV. In addition to the CV controversy, a Wall Street Journal report said his decision was partly influenced by a recent diagnosis of thyroid cancer.

Jose Pablo Arango has resigned from his position as VP Client Services of Sancho BBDO Colombia. Arango has worked for the agency for 20 years.

Carolina Ladd is the new Executive Director of Union Guatemalteca de Agencias de PUblicidad. She will replace Pauline Crespo, who has been the Executive Director for the last 6 years.
