In an exclusive interview with Portada at the network’s upfront in Manhattan, General Manager Lino Garcia disclosed a new daily program that will feature top newspaper sports reporters.
 
“We’ll be working with major outlets from key U.S. Hispanic cities including Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Puerto Rico. We will also work with major outlet from Mexico,” Garcia told Portada. “We are very excited about this new initiative. It reinforces our commitment to delivering cutting-edge content to Latino sports fans in the U.S.,” continued Garcia
 
ESPN Deportes is also launching a new program called “Dream Job,” which will travel the country (a la American Idol) in search of a suitable candidate for a sports reporter position.
