•    Heineken USA-Tribeca Film Festival

 is expanding its longstanding partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival by establishing the Heineken Voces Grant in support of American Latino filmmakers. Heineken Voces is a grant under the Tribeca Film Institute Latin American Media Fund, that will carry the mission of encouraging Hispanic filmmakers to redefine, invent, explore and create visions and stories that reflect their diverse cultures.

•    American Family Insurance

American Family Insurance is offering a new website tool, “My Quote”, to provide Spanish-speakers the ability to both get a quote and buy auto insurance online.  This tool was created entirely in Spanish for Latinos living in the United States who feel most comfortable using their native language when purchasing insurance. It can be accessed at https://www.amfamlatino.com.

•    Network Health

Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 170,000 Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes, announced today the launch of its interactive Spanish-language Web site, www.network-health.org. The Web site empowers and engages Massachusetts’ Spanish-speaking health care consumers by providing real-time information on a wide range of health care topics, including member eligibility, cost, member benefits and services, and health and wellness information.

•    ESPN and Corona Extra

ESPN and Corona Extra announced a multimedia sponsorship agreement that aligns Corona Extra with ESPN’s Spanish and English-language boxing content across platforms; highlighted by the presenting sponsorship of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights studio telecasts on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. Corona Extra will be integrated across multiple platforms. The agreement includes fight telecast sponsorship, English and Spanish language in-ring exposure, digital and print exposure, and on-site activations. Television exposure includes presenting sponsorship of ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes telecasts of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights, on-air features during both shows, and sponsorship of ESPN Deportes’ Golpe a Golpe, the network’s weekly boxing studio show co-hosted by boxing champion Juan Manuel Marquez and Jorge Eduardo Sanchez. Corona Extra will also receive in-ring exposure, including on-site signage on the center ring mat with their logo on all ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes telecasts. In addition, Corona Extra will receive special features during ESPN Deportes Radio’s top shows including the all-sports show Zone ESPN, and the boxing news and information show a Los Golpes.

•    San Diego County

San Diego County has launched Spanish and Filipino-language versions of its redistricting website, a resource designed to boost participation in its latest efforts to redraw Board of Supervisor boundaries. The new sites include the meeting schedule of the county’s redistricting advisory committee and information on how residents can submit their plans and suggestions to the committee. Meeting materials are posted first in English, with Spanish, Filipino and Vietnamese delayed slightly for translation
