Tomas O Farrell {Fn box}, Damian Molina {Fn box}, Reid Hoffman {Globant}, Ricardo Fort {Visa}, Kevin Burke {Visa}, Jessica Mata {A&E}

Visa, Foster City, Calif., promoted an executive and hired another. Kevin Burke, head of global marketing and strategy for the Americas, was promoted to chief marketing officer for core products. Ricardo Fort joined Visa as head of global sponsorship marketing, a new post; he had been global marketing director for the children’s, teenager and dessert brands at Groupe Danone, Paris.

Jessica Mata, has been named Advertising Sales Director of the new A&E Ole Networks Advvertising Unit in Mexico.  Mata will be in charge of a group of nine professionals in the areas of sales, research as well as
integrated marketing solutions.

Tomas O Farrell, partner and VP of Fnbox, is leaving his duties as VP in Fnbox to start a new project. His role as a shareholder will remain the same. O Farrell also announced that Damian Molina is replacing him as the new VP of Sales and Business Development.

Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, will be joining the Argentinean IT company Globant. Hoffman will be part of the Advisory Board after the recent $2 million capital injection in the company by the not-for-profit Endeavor Foundation‘s Catalyst Program. Globant works with companies like Zynga, Google and JWT.
