María José Santos has been appointed General Account Director of Raya Chile. Santos will be in charge of the Nostrum Chile´s accounts.
Pubmatic has hired Dayna Moon to develop relations with publishers in the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets. Moon previously worked at AdTech, an online advertising company owned by AOL. Moon works out of Pubmatic’s New York office. PubMatic gives premium publishers a real-time media selling platform for managing revenue and brand strategy.
PolyCom Peru announced the hiring of Carlos Estrada Dejo as its new Country Manager. “Mi mission in Peru is to focus on new channels and market opportunities”, said Estrada.
WPP announced a new tech unit called GroupM Next. The new office will support Maxus, MEC, Mindshare and MediaCom tech operations. Chris Copeland has been named CEO and Cary Tilds is the new Chief Innovation Officer.
Mediamorph, global provider of cloud-based software and managed services to content creators, programmers and distributors, announced the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors: Robert Toms, Managing Director at Smedvig Capital; Stewart Till, CBE, CEO of Sonar Entertainment (formerly, RHI Entertainment); Wahid Hamid, Senior Partner and Head of Portfolio Operations and Management Group at Abraaj Capital; and Michael Huseby, Chief Financial Officer of Barnes & Noble Inc.
The role of Mediamorph’s Board of Directors is to advise the company on growth, including global expansion, as well as entrance into new markets and business lines. Mediamorph recently secured an additional $8million in funding from Smedvig Capital and Motorola Mobility Ventures.
Fabrizio Bini is the new Chief Financial Officer of McCann Worldgroup for Latin America. Bini is replazing Olga Trapp Monroy, who was promoted last year to Chief Financial Officer for McCann Worldgroup North America. Bini reports to Luca Linder, Predient McCann Latin America, Africa and Middle East and Tara Comonte, Global Chief Financial Officer.
Among Bini´s responsibilities, he will be in charge of the financial operations in the region for McCann Erickson, Momentum, MRM and McCann Healthcare. This operations include 20 countries and 27 cities.
