Bob Perry is the new Senior Director Mobile Sales and Solutions at Mobile Posse in New York City. Until recently Perry was VP of Multicultural at Voodoovox. Mobile Posse is a provider of next-generation mobile advertising and mCRM solutions. Both Voodoovox and Mobile Posse are (partially) backed ty venture capital investment company Softbank. 

Mike Cano is the new Director of Hispanic Media, at the Newspaper National Network, which today introduced a network of Hispanic newspapers.

Carlos Pedraja is the new industry manager Latin America at Google, where he will contribute to Google’s panregional sales team out of Miami. Until recently Pedraja worked as U.S. Hispanic Specialist Sales at MSN.

Also joining Univision is Adriana Vargas, a former spokesperson for Colombia President Juan Manuel Santos. She will co-anchor the local news on Univision-owned WXTV in New York beginning Aug. 15.

Discovery U.S. Hispanic has named Maria Badillo as Director of Programming and Acquisitions for the company’s portfolio of Spanish-language networks, which includes Discovery en Español and Discovery Familia.
