Cristian Guimpel has been promoted to Regional Digital Director for Latin America at Starcom MediaVest. Guimpel will be based in Buenos Aires and will be in charge of the digital communication for Procter & Gamble´s brands in the region: Always, Head&Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Ariel, Oral B, Olay, Koleston de Wella, Ace, Old Spice, Naturella, Vick, Peptobismol y Metamucil.
Cristina Parente has been promoted to General Media Director of Havas Media. She will handle all media negociations in Havas Media´s brands.
Fox International Channels (FIC) will launch Fox Sports in Brazil in February. In order to boost its Latin American team, Carlos Martinez has been promoted to president, FIC Latin America, while Emiliano Saccone will become president, entertainment, FIC Latin America. Eduardo Zebini will step in as vice-president and managing editor, Fox Sports Brazil.
Group M has announced the opening of a new office of Maxus in Argentina. The agency will be run by Ariel Bérgamo.
Bupa Health Insurance has appointed Stuart Fletcher, who recently worked as president of Diageo international as its CEO. The move follows the announcement of Ray King's retirement earlier this year. Fletcher will take up his new position in March 2012.

Ogilvy & Mather has announced the opening of David, a new independent agency. David will be launched in Latin America with offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The agency will be run by Fernando Musa, Gastón Bigio and Anselmo Ramos. Joaquín Cubría and Analía Ríos will be in charge of the creative department and Nazia Du Bois, Head of Global Cultural Strategy at Ogilvy & Mather, will join the new agency as Head of planning.
