Citing a desire to consolidate creative and media-buying efforts, Verizon Wireless has chosen New York-based GlobalHue to head-up these operations.
Verizon Wireless' Vice President of Advertising and Digital Media John Harrobin said that the decision to award GlobalHue the account was based Verizon Wireless' desire to deliver relevant messages and content to Latino consumers and its confidence in GlobalHue to faithfully execute these tasks with a disciplined and cost-effective approach.
Executive Vice President and Director of Hispanic Client Services, Chris Campos commented that GlobalHue was “thrilled” to be chosen not just as the creative engine behind Verizon Wireless' Hispanic outreach, but also as the deliverer of that creative messaging.
GlobalHue is listed as the country's third-largest Hispanic agency according to Advertising Age. Its other accounts include the I.R.S., Daimler Chrysler and Discover financial, among others.
Verizon Wireless' previous agency of record was LatinVox.
