- Impremedia named Brenda Jones as senior national account executive for El Diario La Prensa in New York. Additionally, Fabrizio Danova is the new senior national category manager with La Opinión in Los Angeles.
- Harry Whipple, former publisher of the Cincinnati Enquirer, will be president and CEO of the Denver Newspaper Agency, which manages the business and production operations of the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post. Scripps and MediaNews Group own equal parts of the Denver JOA (Joint Operating Agreement).
Whipple was president of Newspaper Agency Corp., a JOA that manages business and production operations for the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News in Salt Lake City. He replaces Kirk MacDonald, who is leaving to start his own business. - Lopez Negrete Communications named Eunice Munoz C. as Director/Public Relations. Eunice was VP/public relations and communications at Banco Popular North America.
