David-Purdy-David Purdy, a senior executive with Canadian telco Rogers Communications, has been named chief international growth officer at Vice Media, a newly created global role at the fast-growing digital media co.Purdy was most recently SVP of content and video product management at Rogers. At Rogers since 1997, Purdy worked on cable/satellite side of the business, launching channels like Sportsnet and helping to broker a recent partnership with Vice to launch a linear network (Viceland) in 2016.

pennaY&R Brazil has announced the appointment of Marcello Penna as VP of customer service. He will work together with Rui Branquinho, VP creative; and Gustavo Gaion, VP of media. The three will be led by David Laloum, CCO of the agency. Prior to joining Young & Rubicam, Penna was account director at  F / Nazca, and in recent years, he participated in projects for brands such as Nike, Skol, P&G, Honda, Sadia, Google, Leica, Trident, Electrolux, Nissin and Mizuno, among others. The agency’s account area is currently handled by four directors: Alessandro Cardoni, Adriana Nigro, Leo Luiz Balbi and Luiz Villano, who will remain fully committed to accounts such as: Vivo, Bradesco, Cielo, Azul, Peugeot, Grupo Petrópolis, Honda Motocicletas, Danone, LG and BIC.

Dominguez570_15Rafa “Creaturón” Dominguez, Lopez Negrete Communications Mexico current CEO  and Executive Creative Director of the network, is the new president of the Círculo Creativo de México.He will replace  Ivan Carrasco and will start his new role in January 2016.
