Fifa Renews Long Term Partnership With Adidas

What? ADIDAS will be fifa’s partner until year 2030.
Why it matters? ADIDAS will retain official partner, supplier and license rights to the Fifa World Cup as well as supporting charitable and community projects for its exchange programme.

fifaAdidas has been a Fifa partner since 1970 when the company fist provided the match ball for the World Cup in Mexico.

Now, the partnership renewal has been extended until 2030, according to www.sportspromedia.com.

The agreement will allow ADIDAS, the German sportswear and equipment brand, to retain official partner, supplier and licensee rights to the Fifa World Cup and all other tournaments operated by soccer's global governing body.

ADIDAS will continue supplying the official match ball to these competitions, in addition to creating replica versions for retail and providing uniforms for referees and other officials.

Furthermore, Adidas will be granted extensive branding rights around Fifa events and will continue supporting charitable and community projects such as Fifa Goal and the Fifa Football for Hope Adidas Exchange Programme.
