Alfred Haber retains exclusive distribution rights for Golden Globes and AMAs

What: Alfred Haber Distribution Inc. has renewed its agreement with Dick Clark Productions, by means of which it is granted exclusive international distribution rights for the Golden Globe Awards and the American Music Awards.
Why is it important: Dick Clark Productions has chosen to continue its relationship with AHDI, due to the commitment it has shown while representing the Golden Globes and AMAs during 15 and 22 years, respectively.

Yesterday it was officially announced that New Jersey-based Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc. (AHDI) and Dick Clark Productions have renewed the decades-long agreement that grants AHDI exclusive international distribution rights regarding both the Golden Globe Awards and the American Music Awards.

According to Web sites such as World Screen and Hispanic Business, Alfred Haber has been representing the Golden Globes and the AMAs in the international marketplace during 15 and 22 solid years, respectively.

The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will be aired on January 12, 2014. Since their establishment in 1944, they have become a sort of catwalk for Hollywood celebrities, showcasing the best film and TV productions. It is one of the three most-watched award shows in the United States.

The 2013 American Music Awards will be airing on November, aiming to honor, as they traditionally do, the latest talents of the contemporary music scene.

"The American Music Awards and Golden Globe Awards continue to captivate audiences around the world, with the most recent production of each show in more than 160 territories", said Michael Mahan, President of DC Media, the parent company of Dick Clark Productions.

Haber, said that "the AMAs has been a staple on television since they were created by music industry legend Dick Clark in 1973, and we are thrilled to, once again, represent [both the AMAs and the Golden Globes] to the international marketplace."
