Dentsu has appointed Jerry Buhlmann as an executive officer, effective July 1. Buhlmann was in charge of Dentsu Aegis Network and Aegis Media.  The executive will be in charge of contributing with Denstu’s global business strategy outside of Japan and drive further growth at the company. He will continue to report to Dentsu director and executive vice-president Tim Andree.

Agea has announced changes in its commercial department. Agea owns the most popular newspaper in Argentina, Clarin, among other media proprieties like La Razón and Revista Elle. These print media will be now under the management of the group. Ezequiel Undank will be in charge of the online commerce of cars, jobs and real state. Eduardo Speranza will be in charge of the other segments.

Princess Cruises appointed Gordon Ho to SVP of marketing. In this newly-created position he will lead the company’s global marketing, public relations and digital activities. Ho brings marketing experience to his new role with Princess, in areas including worldwide creative development, brand management, partnership marketing, digital marketing, CRM and public relations. Ho previously spent 18 years at the Walt Disney Company where he last served as EVP of worldwide marketing for its $4 billion Disney Studios Home Entertainment division.

Carousel Industries, a data networks, voice & visual communications company, announced it has hired Daniel Edwards as Vice President of Global Marketing. An industry veteran with over a decade of experience in the unified communications and audio/visual conferencing industry, Edwards will be tasked with developing a marketing communications strategy as Carousel expands its business into the managed services and the unified communications market. In his new role at Carousel, Edwards will be responsible for managing all marketing functions to help the company achieve its sales, growth and profit objectives.  He will be also be leading the effort to better enable the sales organization and strengthen Carousel's market position as a leading systems integrator and an innovator in unified communications.

Rodrigo Ritacco has been promoted at Argentinean digital communications agency  D'arriens as Network Director. Previously, Ritacco has been working as technology Manager.

Juan Witt has been named VP in Business Development at a new office for Business Development the Telemundo  Station Group is opening in Mexico City.  The new unit will support and generate  investment from companies in Mexico and Latin America that are seeking to reach  the U.S. Hispanic market at both national and local levels. Witt previously worked for Univision also in Mexico City.

IPG Mediabrands continues expanding its specialized services in Latin America with the opening of new Reprise Media offices in Argentina.  Reprise Media is a provider search engine-based digital marketing solutions (SEM) company, part of IPG Mediabrands’ MAP division (Mediabrands Audience Platform). The company offers specialized services such as search, display, mobile.  Reprise Media has consolidated its global market position within digital marketing since 2003, providing services to large advertisers like Coca Cola, MasterCard, Unilever, Microsoft, Bayer, American Airlines and Hyundai among others. This global experience has landed in the Argentinean market under the leadership of Daniel Cao as General Director of Reprise Media in the country.
