  • NBS and Quê have announced their fusion. The new agency will be called NBS and Cyd Alvarez will continue as president.

André Lima has been named VP planning and creative, Antoninno Brandao has been named VP Accounts and Business and Roberto Tourinho has been named Operations VP.

The agency will continue working with ob’s, BRF, Batavo, Bomnegocio.com, BR Distribuidora, CCAA, Coca-Cola (i9 by Powerade, Crystal) Club Med, Eletrobras Eletronorte, Gradiente, Ministério do Esporte, O Boticário, Oi, Oi Futuro, Fundação Onda Azul, Shopping JK Iguatemi, Suvinil, Petrobras y Takeda, among other clients.

  • Diageo has promoted its chief operating officer Ivan Menezes to the role of chief executive, replacing Paul Walsh on July 1.

Menezes has been with the company since 1997 in a variety of global and regional roles. He was appointed chief operating officer of Diageo in March 2012.

  • Caio Ramalho and Alan Viana have been appointed as Media Managers of Brazilian Fischer & Friends.

Both executives will be responsible for the Customer Services department and will report to Vicente Varela, Director of Customer Services.
