“Getting Ready for the Big Game”

That is the theme of this year’s Latin American Advertising and Media Summit.  With the 2014 Soccer World Cup and 2016 Olympics taking place in Brazil, the theme reflects marketers’ opportunity of using sports content as a key connector to Latin American audiences. Portada’s Latin American Advertising and Media Summit will take place in Miami’s Intercontinental Hotel on June 4 and 5.

“Our 2013 Latam Summit theme also reflects that in today’s competitive Latin American marketplace, only marketers that  adapt to changing consumer behavior through innovation will build the most valuable brands,” says Portada publisher Marcos Baer. In this context, the Summit’s agenda will emphasize the role of new digital marketing tools and the value of data to best connect with the Latin American consumer.

Major Speakers will include:

Nick Denton, CEO and Founder, Gawker Media

Leonardo Loisa, Sr. Regional Marketing Leader, AMD

Fernando Maroniene, Senior Marketing Manager, Adobe Systems Latin  America

Claudio Ferreira, publisher,  Veja Magazine
