Changing Places: Jed Hartman, Joe Lockhart, Fred Hassan …

Time Inc has promoted Fortune and CNNMoney Worldwide Publisher, Jed Hartman, to the newly-created position as Group Publisher of news and business, with immediate effect. Hartman will be responsible for all ad sales and marketing across Time Inc’s portfolio, including Time, Time.com, Fortune, Fortune.com, Money and CNNMoney.com.

Facebook VP of Global Communications, Joe Lockhart, is to depart the company just 15 months after he joined the world’s largest social network. Lockhart’s is the latest in a string of high-profile departures at the social networking giant, following their disappointing IPO in May.

The Executive Chairman and former CEO of AVON, Andrea Jung, is bringing her turbulent decade leading the cosmetics company to an end as she will step down at the end of this year. Jung will be replaced by current board member, Fred Hassan, who will assume the position of non-executive chairman on January 1st, 2013.
