Raul Galofre was appointed New Business and Corporate Development Director at US Media Consulting based in Miami. Until recently Galofre worked as brand manager at GDA Digital in Miami. Before that Galofre worked at Casa Editorial de El Tiempo in Colombia as digital manager.

Marcos Maranhao left US Media Consulting and is in the process of launching his own media representation business, which initially will offer options of print and OOH (Out of Home Advertising) in Brazil.

Laeticia Callava, Candela Ferro and Olga Dager are the anchors of a new magazine show “Las 3 caras de la moneda” on MegaTV.

Alexis Rivera was named co-anchor of WSNVN.

Matt Alvarez was appointed general assignment reporter on WWOR. Previously, he was a reporter on WCMH.

Jim Heekin, Chairman and CEO of Grey Group announced that Alain Groenendaal has been appointed President & CEO of Grey Latin America. Groenendaal will continue to serve in his current role as President and CEO of Wing, Grey Group's full-service marketing communications agency focused on the intersection of the U.S. Hispanic, Latin American and general markets

Andrew Speyer was promoted to managing director of Wing, No. 2 in command at the New York-based agency. He joined Grey-owned Wing in late 2010 as head of strategy.

Tony Dieste returned to Dieste, Inc. as Chairman. He was the co-founder of the company but for the past few years he worked in the private equity markets as investor, operator and CEO of different companies.

The Phelps Group announced that Alex Perez has joined the integrated marketing communications (IMC) agency as a Team Leader.

GlobalHue has promoted Maria Lopez-Knowles from EVP of Client Services to President of Global Hue Latino.

JeffreyGroup announced the appointment of Claudia Mejia-Haffner as Managing Director of the agency’s New York City office.

Yvonne Martin, Director for Strategic Accounts of the Integrated Business Solutions team at United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), is the new board Chair at NSHMBA, the National Association of Hispanic MBA’s.   Stuart Jara, Managing Director of Inti Associates, is the new board Vice Chair.
