Changing places: Miguel Marquez (CNN), Luis Felipe Godinez-David Zaslav (Univision)

Miguel Marquez was named Los Angeles correspondent in CNN.

Luis Felipe was named Executive Producer for Univision’s KDTV-14. Previously, he was reporter/anchor at KCEC-50.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that David Zaslav, president and CEO of Discovery Communications, and José Bastón Patiño, president of Television and Content for Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. have been elected to its Board of Directors. 

Univision Communications Inc. announced Cristina Schwarz is the new vice president of Programming and Production for Univision Cable Networks.

The Hispanic Scholarship Consortium (HSC) announced the appointment of Octavio A. Hinojosa Mier to head the nonprofit organization.  

The Tucson Padres continue their efforts to connect with the Hispanic community in southern Arizona by hiring Francisco Gamez as the club's Director of Hispanic Marketing. Gamez is aformer professional pitcher who organized the inaugural Vamos a Tucson Mexican Baseball Fiesta in October.  

Arix, a health and wellness company, announced the addition of their newest Executive Team Member, global business leader Alfonso Todd, as Vice President of Hispanic Markets. He will oversee ARIIX operations in Mexico and its future expansion in Latin America, as well as supporting growth in the Hispanic Markets throughout North America.
