- Heineken – Global
Heineken announced that it is to consolidate media planning and buying for its brands worldwide into one media agency. Publicis' Starcom MediaVest and WPP's MindShare, have been shortlisted.
- Revlon - Global
Revlon has moved its media planning and buying worldwide duties out of Starcom into MediaCom without a pitch.
Separate reports claim MediaCom, which already handles Revlon's US account, has been awarded the consolidated global business. It is believed the decision is part of an as yet unconfirmed global realignment by the cosmetics company.
- Reckitt Benckiser – Global
Reckitt Benckiser has kicked off the search for an agency to handle its global digital CRM business. Reckitt is believed to want an agency to work across all of its main categories and brands such as Clearasil, Vanish, Calgon and Airwick. Agencies on the Reckitt roster – which include Euro RSCG, the company's advertising network of record, and Iris – are unaffected by the search for a new global CRM agency.
- Chivas Brothers - Global
Whisky Chivas Brothers has appointed John Doe to handle the global PR for Ballantine's. Ballantine’s is part of the Chivas Brothers whisky portfolio owned by global wine and spirits giant, Pernod Ricard. Following a pitch process reported in PRWeek, John Doe has been appointed to handle the global PR for the brand, working alongside a wider team of digital and advertising agencies, to create integrated campaigns, both globally. Former Adidas global PR manager and now John Doe director Rosie Holden will head up the account.
- ATTS – Latin America
Maiden Media Group, a digital creative agency in based in Philadelphia announced that ATTS Inc. has selected it as its agency of record. ATTs functions as a global provider of parts, services and specialized engineering solutions for the power generation and turbo machinery industry. Maiden Media Group will create a Spanish site for Latin American markets.
