Anita Grace, president of Anita Grace Adexecs is adding El Sol to the portfolio of Hispanic newspapers it represents. El Sol is a Gannett owned Spanish-language weekly with a circulation of 42,000 that is distributed in California’s Monterey and Tulare Counties. El Sol is the sister Hispanic paper of both The Salinas Californian and the Visalia Times  Delta. The other publications Anita Grace represents are La Voz de Arizona, La Prensa Riverside and Orange County’s Excelsior.

Jose Santiago Healy, the former publisher of Diario San  Diego has opened Healy Media Consulting, a firm that offers consulting services to Hispanic (media) companies and organizations.

Catherine Garcia was named KNSD’s primary evening anchor.

Roberto Isaac was promoted to Director, Music programming for mun2.

Miguel Marquez is leaving ABC News.

Sulema Salazar was named WZDC anchor in Telemundo.

Stephen Espinoza was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager of Showtime Sports. 

Rosy Marin was named senior Vice President, regional ad sales in Telemundo Media.

Enrique Turegano was appointed Chairman of American Heart Association Task Force.
