TV Net Media Group, publisher of 7Dias and La Guia, last week acquired La Voz Hispana, an 12 year-old, independently-owned, magazine.

La Voz Hispana will be modifying its format to tabloid, undergoing a redesign process, and revamping its content and circulation according to C.E.O. of TV Net, Luis Baron. Baron cited the huge growth in the area’s Hispanic population as the determining factor for the acquisition.
One of the papers current objectives is to reach new immigrants in the Sarasota and Manatee area, a market with a rapidly growing Hispanic community.
Baron is also leveraging the acquisition to promote a new 360 offering to advertisers that is has termed “Just One Call,” which will incorporate TV, radio, print, direct mail and theI Internet.
