The Advertising Council and Homeland Security Team Up

The Advertising Council and the Department of Homeland Security have teamed up to launch the “Listo” campaign, an offshoot of the “Ready” campaign that encourages citizens to devise readiness plans in case of a natural disaster or terrorist attack.

One component of the campaign takes aim at families and advises them to come up with plans on where to meet and how to communicate in the event of a catastrophe.

The organizations have developed a series of public service announcements boosting the campaign. The PSAs, developed by Washington D.C.-based Elevación will be featured in Print, Online, Television, and Outdoor venues.

The campaign also has a Spanish-language website, www.listo.gov, which includes emergency preparedness resources and other helpful information.
