El Sentinel Turns Five

In celebration of its fifth anniversary, El Sentinel (weekly; 81,000; racks/newsstand/delivery) has announced it will be publishing expanded editions, releasing special features on its website (http://www.elsentinel.com), and hosting various community events.

El Sentinel launched August 11, 2001 with a distribution of 60,000 copies. Currently, the free publication is primarily home-delivered to 66,000 households in the Orlando area, with an additional 15,000 available at newsstands and racks.

In addition to its online and newspaper operations, publishing company Orlando Sentinel Communications also involved in direct mail, niche publishing and commercial printing.
