Facebook logosecondsyncFacebook announced a partnership with UK social TV analytics company SecondSync. This partnership aims  to help clients understand how people use the social network to talk about different topics such as TV.

For the first time, Facebook’s social TV data will be made available outside of the company.

SecondSync plans to share initial results through a white paper named “Watching with Friends” that is expected to be made in the following weeks. This paper will count with a complete analysis of how people use Facebook to engage with TV. The partnership will be able to see anonymised data used to allow the analysis of total discussion levels on Facebook.
