Janet Grynberg

Janet has worked as editor and translator since 2013.  After graduating with honors when receiving her Bachelor's Degree in English literature, she began working as a book reviewer for Expansión, the leading business magazine in Mexico. She has also worked as editor of young adult literature for publishing houses like Planeta and Penguin, and she's the author of a book of short stories. She's in the process of getting her MA in English at McGill University. Her interests include arts, good food, and her 8 pets.

César Melgoza

After key roles at Apple and Strategic Mapping, César founded Geoscape, a firm that provides services for an increasingly diverse marketplace. His award-winning master’s thesis “Chicanos in the New Economy” employed advanced statistical analytics that planted the seeds for Geoscape. He served on the board of directors of the USHCC, the advisory board of FIU's MBA program, and he is a board member of Florida State University’s Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication. His experience is drawn upon frequently by leading publications and conferences.

Kristin Sánchez
Multicultural Marketing Manager

Creative marketing professional with experience in advertising, non-profit and consumer packaged goods. Excels at making order out of chaos and developing a strategic plan for brands. Skills include: New Product Development, Brand Repositioning, Quantitative and Ethnographic Market Research, Strategic Planning, Hispanic Marketing, Mobile Marketing and Creative Development. At Nestlé, Kristin is responsible for growing market share of NUSA Cleveland brands (Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine, DiGiorno, Hot Pockets and Nestle Tollhouse) with the Hispanic consumer. Projects range from new products to communications to sales & distribution.

Alex Tokatlian

Domino's Pizza

A classically trained marketer, Alex leads US multicultural marketing for Domino’s Pizza, including advertising development, digital engagement, media, and retail strategy. Prior to that, he lead several key product launches including improved core toppings, and Domino’s Bread Twists. Prior to Domino’s, Alex managed several iconic brands at The Hershey Company, and also has prior experience working at the New York Stock Exchange, and Frito-Lay. Alex is a graduate of Tulane University with a BSM in Finance, and the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with an M.B.A. concentrated in Marketing. Alex resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his wife and their three daughters.

Natalie Bursztyn

Natalie oversees global execution of Totto’s marketing strategy across all channels focusing on different market segments. Prior to receiving her MBA from NYU, Natalie directed the strategy, conceptualization and execution of Totto’s first Flagship Store in Bogota, Colombia, as well as worked in the development and implementation of the global brand guidelines. Totto has presence in 52 countries, 600 retail locations and sales of over 14 millions unit in 2014.

Daniel is the Brand Marketing Manager at FCA which owns and manufactures brands like Jeep, Dodge, RAM, FIAT, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.

Teylez Perez

Teylez is a high-energy marketing professional, with over 15 years of agency and enterprise experience in helping brands evolve and grow in the rapidly changing U.S. Hispanic market. With his strong background in management, strategic planning, media and production; Teylez has developed marketing programs and advertising campaigns for Brands targeting the Hispanic consumer on a variety of different industries such as telecommunication, package goods, amusement parks, retail and entertainment. Teylez is currently the SVP of Marketing for Pantaya, a Spanish-language streaming movie service.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she worked on market research and economic forecasting at Standard & Poor’s DRI and CB Richard Ellis for Latin American economies and commercial real estate, respectively.

Manny is Senior Director-Multicultural at Moet Hennessy USA, overseeing luxury wines and spirits. He's in charge of the brands’ strategies and programming in the African-American, Hispanic and Asian consumer segments, and he manages multicultural community relations programs. Prior to this position, he served as Director-Multicultural for the Hennessy brand. Manny has been Managing Consultant with Zyman Group, Marketing Manager for Johnnie Walker at Diageo, and brand manager for Miller Genuine Draft.

Kerina Mora
Assistant Marketing Manager, Multicultural


Kerina Mora provides input into the overall annual marketing plan and strategic efforts needed to drive the business objectives. Develops and implements year-round National advertising campaigns targeted to the US Hispanic consumer. Ensures campaigns are integrated and strategically aligned across all efforts. Activates advertising across multiple tactics and media. Supports the regional marketing teams with localization of national campaign efforts for assigned local markets. She oversees marketing budget for the segment.

John Sandoval

John is Senior Brand and Latino Marketing manager at Intuit, where he is responsible for the TurboTax brand and leads marketing strategy and tactics for the Latino market in the US. Prior to Intuit, John was founding partner of Orange USA, a boutique marketing agency growing client brands through the use of the latest marketing strategies and tactics. Prior to Orange USA, he worked at Square focusing on the growth of their Square en Espanol product offering and as a Brand Manager with Procter and Gamble.

Stephen Brooks
Executive Vice President & GM

Stephen Brooks draws on over 20 years of experience in media and technology to build VidaPrimo into a first-class video network for Latin music.Stephen joined VidaPrimo in 2016 after several years as a consultant for start-ups in streaming media and mobile technology. He previously led North American marketing for Technicolor, specializing in broadcast and streaming media services. At Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures, Stephen guided the launch and adoption of new video formats, including DVD, Blu-ray Disc and Digital Download.

Ana Lucía Soto

Ana Lucía is JCPenney’s National Media Manager developing 360 total market strategies that touch every step of the marketing process, from planning to execution with over 18 years of international multidisciplinary background in Marketing and Media. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science (LCC’98) from el Tec de Monterrey (ITESM, Campus Monterrey). Born in Mexico City, she grew up in Monterrey where she was exposed to the bi-cultural US/Mexican border dynamics. She lives in Dallas, TX.

Seraj Bharwani is Chief Strategy Officer at AcuityAds and is responsible for consumer insights on cross-screen, digital & social media. Previously, Seraj led the Strategy & Analytics practice at Digitas for over 14 years. He joined the agency as part of the founding team that led the company through its early growth phase, the IPO and exit via acquisition by Publicis. Seraj is a graduate of MIT Media Lab and an author of several refereed articles on emerging, cross-screen, audience behaviors critical to driving business results.

Jason P. Riveiro

Riveiro brings over 20 years experience leading multinational strategic initiatives for some of the most recognized Fortune 500 companies including Toyota, Procter & Gamble and Macy's on both the agency and client side. Prior to joining Realogy Holdings Corp, Jason served as Chief Marketing Officer for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). Jason is also responsible for pioneering the launch of multicultural marketing departments at Big Lots, North America's largest closeout retailer and The Sherwin-Williams Co., the nation's largest specialty retailer of paint and painting supplies.

Jason holds a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University, a bachelor's degree in International Studies and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX and has completed graduate courses at the Universidad de San Pablo-CEU in Madrid, Spain.

He also leads a successful sponsorship strategy and execution in Boxing under a through-the-line approach that has given industry’s recognition for performing world-class activations.Guerra joined HUSA after two successful years as the head of marketing of Chivas de Guadalajara. Prior to that, he served for 10 years as Senior Group Brand Manager at Heineken Mexico. Guerra is particularly experienced and passionate in Sports Marketing and as a proud Latino living in the US, have full understanding of the Hispanic market.

Miss Velarde leads North America operations for Carolina Herrera’s lifestyle brand CH Carolina Herrera. Fabiola has degrees both in architecture and fashion merchandising, and combines a keen business mind with an eye for aesthetic and design. The CH Carolina Herrera brand, well established in Europe and Latin America, hired Fabiola in 2006 to spearhead the brand’s launch in the North America market. Throughout her tenure, she has played an integral role in the design of the luxury experience protocols the brand follows worldwide. Today, with stores across the US and through her leadership of a best-in-class team, Fabiola has grown the CH Carolina Herrera brand in North America to be one of the biggest and fastest growing markets for the brand.
