DirecTV has announced its new agency of record, New York-based Euro RSCG Latino. Other agencies who were considered included NY-based Conill, Chicago-based Lapiz, and Miami agencies La Comunidad and Zubi Advertising. DirecTV's former agency, Vidal Group out of New York did not re-pitch. DirecTV cut its Hispanic spending in 2006 to $14.1 million in 2006 from $23.3 million in 2005.
