Melanie Davis, publisher and owner of El Hispanic News, a bilingual monthly newspaper based in Portland, Ore., has launched PQ Monthly, an LGBTQ publication that serves Oregon. She is also the senior strategist for Su Público, the only full-service Hispanic ad agency serving Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
Melanie Davis, announced plans to start publishing PQ Monthly soon after Just Out, Portland's semimonthly LGBTQ newspaper in print since 1983announced it was out of business in December 2011.
In 2010, Melanie Davis, El Hispanic News managing partner and owner of Brilliant Medial LLC, purchased El Hispanic News from Clara Padilla-Andrews.
