McDonald’s recently launched a new ad-campaign that seeks to raise awareness of the opportunities for career advancement that exist within its framework.

The Hispanic component of the campaign was developed by Coral Gables, FL-based del Rivero Messianu DDB, the burger chain’s Hispanic agency of record. It consists of TV and online advertising that follows the career path of Ofelia Melendrez, a former staff member who rose through the ranks to Southwest region director of operations.

The company is placing online banners and has launched a new career website — McDonalds.com/careers– profiling career advancement stories from crew level up to management. The website also has job-search portion for restaurant or corporate. Banners are a link to career website, and info on Hamburger University, in Oak Brook, Ill.
