The Council of the Americas is a group of highly regarded C-level executives that share their enthusiasm for Marketing, Tech and Media in the Americas.

The four objectives of the Council of the Americas are:

1. To provide U.S. and Latin American C-level leaders a platform for high level, informal gatherings.
2. To advance the marketing communications discipline as a key way to connect with consumers throughout the Americas.
3. To discuss major challenges and opportunities in marketing, tech and media.
4. To provide relevant input for Portada content (event programming, digital and print magazine communication).

As VP of Raine, Peter is responsible for sourcing investment and advisory opportunities across the digital media and technology sectors. He has helped source, execute and manage various investments across Raine’s funds, including Wanderlust, System1, and HowStuffWorks. He serves on the boards of Wanderlust and HowStuffWorks. He has worked with domestic and international clients to develop tailored business strategies, raise capital and execute M&A strategies. Previously, he worked at Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank.

Alberto “Banano” Pardo is an AdTech and eCommerce Entrepreneur with strategic vision for launching startups. In 1999, Pardo was part of the first Latin American online marketplace, deremate.com. In 2008, Pardo created the eCommerce Chamber in Colombia and founded digital agency Bea Digital. He founded Adsmovil in 2010. He is also the co-founder of Pinbus.com, Global Member of the Mobile Marketing Association and an Endeavour mentor. He has been honored by the Mobile Marketing Association, IAB Colombia, the eCommerce Chamber in Colombia and Havas Group.
