Cesar Martinez is the new Vice President, Sales & Branded Entertainment at MiTú Network, the Los Angeles based Multi Channel Online Video provider. Martinez previously worked as VP Multicultural Sales at LiveNation.
Ad tech company Undertone´s Chief Operating Officer , Corey Ferengul, has been promoted to CEO, effective June 1. He will replace current CEO and founder Michael Cassidy, who will move into a chairman role. Frengul has helped large organizations to grow (most recently at Rovi Corp.), by evaluating and executing mergers and acquisitions. He also understands technology and product, which adds new dimensions to the CEO role.
Jose Diaz-Balart was named anchor of MSNBC’s 10 a.m. daytime show. He will replace Chris Jansing, who is leaving to become NBC senior White House correspondent. Diaz-Balart will host the show from Miami beginning in mid-June, but will also continue to co-anchor Telemundo’s daily news program Noticiero Telemundo and his Sunday show on Telemundo, Enfoque con Jose Diaz-Balart. This move highlights the growing interaction between NBC’s English-language networks and Hispanic network Telemundo.
Kristi Argyilan was named senior Vice President , media and guest engagement at retail chain Target. She was most recently president of media buying unit MagnaGlobal North America.
