Changing Places:Roger Salazar (Mercury), Mariela Ure (Wells Fargo), Lisa Fell (Mendoza Group)

Roger Salazar will join Mercury as managing director and focusing on management, execution and growth of Mercury's media relations, crisis communications, and public affairs practices in Sacramento, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. Salazar also will work with Hon. Fabian Nunez on the firm's emerging Hispanic and Spanish language public affairs specialty practice.

Wells Fargo announced the addition of Mariela Ure to the Enterprise Marketing team as the Hispanic Segment Business Manager.  In her role, Ms. Ure will coordinate Wells Fargo’s efforts in meeting the needs of the rapidly growing Hispanic market.  Ms. Ure will oversee the delivery of products and services to Hispanic consumers and leverage internal partnerships, channels and key markets to maximize consumer satisfaction. Mariela understands the Hispanic consumer and will spearhead Wells Fargo’s efforts as “America’s #1 small business lender” to Hispanic and women-owned small businesses.

Enrique Acevedo was named co-anchor in Univision.

Borja Perez was appointed Senior Vice President, Digital & Social Media in Telemundo.

Kens-5 has promoted Phil Anaya as reporter on the weekend anchor desk.

Carlos Sanchez has been named National Political Editor of the recently launched Latino news website VOXXI.com.

The Ibarria Media Group (IMG) announced the appointment of Diana Ibarria to the new post of Executive Vice president and Director of National Sales.

Court Stroud has been named Direct of Sales of VME Networks (VME).

Media, Pa, based Mendoza Group announced Lisa Fell as its new Director of Client Services. Ms. Fell will be responsible for implementing comprehensive advertising and marketing strategies, including oversight of all creative and media services for Mendoza Group's expanding roster of multicultural clients. Ms. Fell's previous position was Vice President of Operations for MediciGlobal, a clinical trials marketing company.
