Continental Airlines and the National Hispanic Press Foundation have announced an essay contest for college-bound Hispanic seniors, called “Destino: Latinoamerica (Destination Latin America).”
Participants must write about any one of the ways that Latin America has impacted the U.S., whether that be with regard to immigration, economy, music, art, etc.
The winner of the contest will receive three round-trip tickets to visit anywhere in the U.S. that Continental travels for a college visit, as well as a trip to a special award ceremony press conference to be held this May/June.
Essays may be submitted in English or Spanish and must be between 250-300 words.
