descargaMazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced changes to its senior management structure for operations in the United States.  These changes are effective immediately. Mazda North American Operations is headquartered in Irvine, California, and oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States and Mexico through nearly 700 dealers. Operations in Mexico are managed by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico City.

descarga-4Publicis Groupe has appointed Arthur Sadoun as Maurice Lévy’s successor.Sadoun, who will officially start on 1 June, will be supported on the Management Board by Publicis Media chief executive Steve King, who joins the current board of executive vice president and chief financial officer Jean-Michel Etienne, and secretary general Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner.

 
aaeaaqaaaaaaaajzaaaajdhhodbmmwu4ltnknmqtngzhzc05mzg1ltrimwrkzjy2njgzygU.S. Hispanic creative directors Sergio Alcocer is launching an agency called Rest of the World, in a return to the ad industry following the end of his non-compete agreement with Omnicom Group, Adage reports.Mr. Alcocer left Omnicom’s  LatinWorks at the end of October 2015 after 16 years at the Hispanic shop where he was president and chief creative officer.The agency will be based in Austin, where Alcocer lives and was based with LatinWorks.So far he’s been working on a couple small projects, including a campaign to promote U.S. tourism to Mexico’s Baja California region and an effort to launch Mexican sports brand Voit in the U.S.

She will also oversee consumer marketing with a focus on the creation and establishment of fresh, state-of-the art approaches, and will supervise nationwide events and the network’s media buys. In addition, Figueroa will oversee developing marketing partnerships across the NBCUniversal brands.Previously, Figueroa was the Vice President of Marketing for Sony Pictures Latin America & Brazil, and was responsible for driving brand awareness, growth, engagement and consumer experiences for Sony Pictures Television Networks.

357c3b4Sergio Alcocer, president and chief creative officer of LatinWorks, is leaving the Austin-based U.S. Hispanic agency at the end of this week after more than 16 years. Mr. Alcocer, one of the best-known Hispanic creatives, has been a major force behind making LatinWorks one of the biggest agencies in the Hispanic market. Mr. Alcocer joined LatinWorks in 1999, shortly after co-founders Manny Flores and Alejandro Ruelas, the agency’s CEO and CMO, started LatinWorks in a basement in St. Louis, Missouri, the city where both had worked on the client side at Anheuser-Busch. The agency is minority owned by Omnicom Group.

 

descarga (1)Liz Ross has been named president and CEO of Minneapolis-based agency Periscope. She succeeds Greg Kurowski, who is retiring from that post but will stay on as vice chairman. Ross was most recently global chief marketing officer at IPG’s Mediabrands, before departing in May. She has also served as chief growth officer at Digitas and as U.S. president of Tribal DDB.

Bermudez will be charged with growing and managing communications solutions for some of the community’s largest clients. Prior to joining the community, Bermudez was a Group Account Director at Alma DDB. She was previously a Senior Account Director at SapientNitro.

Barbara Blangiardi has been named senior VP, strategies and creative partnerships, at Fox Sports. In her new role, she will leverage Fox Sports marketing opportunities between Fox broadcast affiliates, 20th Century Fox film divisions and television studios and the company’s ad sales and marketing groups. Blangiardi has worked as a consultant for Fox Sports over the past year, spending time on the World Cup and college football season launch campaigns. Prior to that, she was senior VP, Olympics marketing, at NBCUniversal.
