Based in Argentina, Calegari will lead the technology units to support the company’s business objectives and operations, in line with IBM’s strategy globally. He held various positions within the company since joining as a young professional in the Distribution System support area, first with responsibility in the country, then as South America and Latin America manager.

 

descargaSchneider Electric has announced the appointment of Sebastian Brunno as director of the IT Business Unit for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Brunno  will report to José Luis Valdellora, president for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, and will be responsible for leading the marketing and sales teams of the company within the IT Business business unit.

Formica will cover digital trends in platforms and will give customers an insight on the next steps in industry. The executive has business administration degree from San Andrés University. In 2014, she joined Xaxis where he served as coordinator of GroupM programmatic buying unit.

 

 

descarga (1)Danilo Castro is the FCB Brazil new media director. Castro has held significant positions in agencies like Euro RSCG, where he worked for eight years, JWT, McCann Erickson and Talent. At FCB Brazil he will handle media for the Nivea account.

 

 

descarga (2)After having served as account VP at Havas Worldwide Mexico, Santiago Sarni returned to Argentina to become CEO of agency Don. Sarni had worked in the agency as brand managing director some years ago. Sarni also worked at Grey, Publicis, BBDO, Santo and La Comunidad.

1481ba7Guillermo Melero is the new CEO of McCann Worldwide Chilean subsidiary. He will replace Fernando Fascioli, who has taken over as the new President of the agency for Latin America. Melero is leaving his position as CEO in Boliche, the shop for which he worked for two years. The executive had previously worked for McCann Chile from 2003 to 2010.Then, he moved to Euro RSCG to work as general manager for two years. Now he is back in McCann.He has a degree in marketing and advertising from the University of Arts, Sciences and Communication (UNIACC) of Chile.

0159697Agency FCB Brazil has promoted César Fuster as the new Director of Planning. He will report directly to Rapha Barreto, vice president of the area, and will be responsible for SKY, Smiles, DPA, ZAP, HP, Pom Pom and Biocolor accounts. He will lead a team of six people. Fuster worked for agencies like Triade-comm (Talent), GAD’ Brand Consulting and idealistic team. He eventually ended up at FCB Brazil, where he has been working for more than three years.

YR_400x400Young & Rubicam has announced that Jorge Soto will take over as Creative Director for the Cristal beer account.He will work together with Norberto Noriega, also creative director for Cristal. Soto has been part of Y&R for 9 years, where he was responsible for brands like Toyota,Movistar, Rimac, Alicorp and Liga Contra el Cáncer, among others.

Other people have also joined Young & Rubicam’s team:

Carlos Fernández will take over as Senior Copywriter. He comes from J. Walter Thompson Peru.

strangerStranger will continue to be based in London and report to John Sheehy, President, Global Operations.A veteran of the media business with over 20 years of experience, Stranger was most recently Executive Director of Global Network Client Operations for SMG’s EMEA region. She joined SMG from Aegis, where she served as the New Business and Marketing Director, Vizeum EMEA. Prior to this position, Stranger was the Vice President of Aegis Media Global Clients.

descargaNorberto Noriega is Y&R Peru new creative director. Noriega will handle Cristal beer account. He has worked for agencies such as Mayo, Draft FCB, JWT, DDB and TBWA. He also served as creative director at agency Causa Peru.

 

hvG_YY4Y_400x400Wendy Clark will return to her position at Coca-Cola on April 6, after a three-month license. When that license was announced, Coca-Cola said Clark would return on March 31.

Before joining the agency, Harbek and Fandiño were part of DraftFCB, TBWA and Don, where they worked for brands such as Personal, FiberTel, DirecTV, ICBC, Mini Cooper , Nissan, Medicus and Adidas, among others.

She will lead a team of 15 professionals and its main objective will be to renovate digital and offline media offer. Omura worked for various agencies like Borghierh / Lowe, Giovanni + Draft FCB, J Walter Thompson and F / Nazca.
