Jacobo Gomez has started a new position as Sales Director – Latin America at Clear Channel Outdoor. Prior to this appointment, Gomez was Latam and US Hispanics’ Media Sales Director for Spain’s Grupo Prisa, owner and publisher of AS.com and El País.

 

 

 

 

McCann Worldgroup announced that Hugo Rodrigues has been named Chairman and CEO of WMcCann. He was most recently President and CEO of Publicis Brazil, an agency where he had also served as Chief Creative Officer before rising to the top position. Rodrigues will report jointly to Rob Reilly, Global Creative Chairman of McCann Worldgroup, and Fernando Fascioli, President of McCann Worldgroup Latin America & CaribbeanMartin Montoya remains as President for WMcCann, and will report to Rodrigues.

 

 

Tiago Ribeiro has arrived to Montevideo to start his new position of Head of Social Media at Wild-Fi agency. The company has operations in Puerto Rico, Panama, Chile, Paraguay and Argentina and belongs to the group The Electric Factory.Before arriving to Uruguay, Tito had worked at J. Walter Thompson and Y&R in Peru, in addition to teaching social networking at Miami Ad School.

 

 

 

Juan Carlos Liscano has been named the new managing director of American Airlines for the airline’s Latin America operations.Liscano’s new occupation will require him to oversee operations for “American’s largest international region covering 50 destinations in Mexico and Central and South America,” according to the Dallas-Fort Worth-based company.In 2014, American Airlines appointed Juan Carlos Liscano as the head of the Los Angeles operation. Liscano has been with the company since 1994.

Ana Moisés, Marketing Solutions Director of LinkedIn Latin America, assumes the position of President of the entity.

Paula Puppi, CEO of Blinks, will occupy the position of agencies Vice President.

Raffael Mastrocola, LatAm General Director at The Community Miami, is the new Financial VP.

Fabrício Protti, Managing Director of Teads, is the new VP of Vehicles.

The new board will become effective on January 1.
