Marta RuizCEOPublicis Media MexicoBorn in Oviedo, Spain, Marta attended high school in California, and graduated with a joint degree in Marketing & International Business from the University of South Alabama where, while on a golf scholarship, she continued on to complete her Master’s in Business Administration.
After a couple years work with an international engineering supplier based in Paris, she landed at Starcom’s Global Headquarters in Chicago. She joined the group’s multicultural division, working on McDonalds, Oldsmobile, Nintendo, Kraft, etc. when she took on responsibility for all of SABMiller’s US multicultural communications as Group Strategy Director.
In 2009, Marta was named Managing Director of Starcom MediaVest Group in Spain .Marta Ruiz-Cuevas was appointed Mexico’s CEO at SMG in June of 2015, and in March of 2016 is named Mexico’s CEO at Publicis Media Mexico, responsible for Starcom, Zenith, Spark Foundry, Blue 449 and Performics. She lives in Mexico City with her husband, Aitor, and two children Lucas and Marta. |
