Drawing on over 15 years of consumer marketing and digital communications experience, Rodriguez will provide strategic counsel to clients across the Edelman portfolio that reach diverse multinational and multilingual audiences.<\/p>\n<p>In a sign of the growing strategic importance of data and analytics in marketing,<strong> Critical Mass<\/strong>, the 700+ person full-service Omnicom digital agency, is promoting<strong> Shaina Boone<\/strong>, the leader of the agency\u2019s marketing science program, to SVP and a member of the executive team. Below, please find the full announcement about this news and also a link to download high-resolution headshots here.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Axis Agency<\/strong>, a full-service Hispanic marketing agency and IPG company, today announced<strong> Peter Sanchez<\/strong>, as the Executive Creative Director, who will lead all creative direction for Axis and continue to develop its core advertising client base, while also expanding its digital advertising business.\u00a0Peter Sanchez is an award-winning creative director who has successfully developed national and regional campaigns that include television, print, outdoor, radio and digital with agencies such as Accentmarketing, Hablame, Wing Latino, Daily and Associates and Casanova Pendrill among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Dorsey<\/strong> has been named the new vice president, innovation and planning for<strong> Cox Media Group\u2019s Austin (Texas) American-Statesman<\/strong>, which publishes newspapers and websites and also acts as a regional commercial printer and distribution company. In his new role, Dorsey will facilitate overall strategy, innovation and portfolio development for the Statesman and serve as a strategic business partner for the leadership and management team. Dorsey joins the Statesman on June 1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fusion<\/strong>, the joint Hispanic network from ABC News and Univision, this week made another senior executive hire, <a title=\"Billy Kimball to head programming for ABC News Univision JV\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portada-online.com\/2013\/05\/10\/billy-kimball-to-head-programming-for-abc-newsunivision-joint-venture\/#ixzz2TBGKMKtk\">appointing <strong>Billy Kimball <\/strong><\/a>as svp and chief programming officer. He will be based in Miami.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>Post-Dispatch<\/strong> executive <strong>Ray Farris<\/strong> has been named publisher of the newspaper, the company announced Thursday. Farris, 57, replaces publisher Kevin D. Mowbray, who has been promoted to the new position of vice president and chief operating officer at Lee Enterprises Inc., the Davenport, Iowa-based newspaper chain.
