Publicis Groupe chief data officer Jason Kodish has announced he’s stepping down after 13 years. Kodish first joined Publicis-owned Digitas in 2006, where he most recently served as global chief data scientist before he was repositioned last year as chief data officer.

Matt Armitage, CEO of media company St Ives, will retire by the end of the current financial year to be succeeded by chief digital officer J Schwan. Armitage first joined St Ives as chief financial officer back in 2007 and was promoted to CEO by 2014.

 

 

 

 

 

Spotify has appointed Dawn Ostroff as chief content officer. Ostroff joins from Condé Nast and will lead all aspects of Spotify’s content partnerships across music, audio, and video.

 

 

 

 

Chief Creative Officer Vann Graves will leave J. Walter Thompson Atlanta to become director of VCU Brandcenter. Previously, Graves founded agency FL&G and was a creative director at McCann WorldGroup.

Columbia Records has named Shahendra Ohneswere Senior Vice President, Content Development.  In this newly created position Shahendra will be working closely with all departments to create multi-platform content strategies across Columbia’s artist, label and creative brand partnerships.

 

 

 

 

 Gap Inc. has named Neil Fiske as president and chief executive officer. Fiske most recently served as CEO at Billabong International and prior to that, he held CEO roles at Eddie Bauer and Bath and Body Works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Uber executive Bozoma Saint John is leaving the company to become chief marketing officer for media company Endeavor. Saint John joined Uber from Apple, where she was the head of global consumer marketing for Apple Music and iTunes.

 

 

 

 

 

Reebok has appointed Karen Reuther as global creative director. Reuther had a 12-year run at Nike that included serving as global creative director, where she headed up global design strategies for the brand.

 

 

 

 

 

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Brandcenter has named Vann Graves executive director. Graves over his career led work on high-profile brands including Shell, American Airlines, Cigna, Lockheed Martin, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, the U.S. Army, AT&T, GE, M&Ms, Snickers, Visa and others.

descarga-4Telemundo Las Vegas / KBLR announced that Antonio Texeira will join Alejandra Ortiz as the new co-anchor of Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas, the station’s local newscast that airs Monday through Fridays at 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm and 11:00pm PT.  Texeira’s first day on-air will be Monday, December 19.Texeria brings more than 11 years of journalism experience to KBLR. He joins Telemundo Las Vegas after working as an anchor for RT International Network in Russia. Before this, he held various on-air roles at Spanish networks including TVE, Antena 3, Telecinco and Cuatro. Additionally, his investigative reports for El Mundo, a daily newspaper in Spain, have been recognized with various awards.
