Headway has appointed Gary Bleasdale Ad Operations Manager Latam, with the goal of further strengthening Headway’s position with agencies and advertisers in Latin America. In 2016, he was chosen to open and develop Amnet Argentina, a local trading desk part of Dentsu Aegis Network.




Ignis Media Agency announced the appointment of Sebastián Terzi as integrated media strategy director. He will be responsible for coordinating planning, buying and negotiation services for digital and offline media and will report directly to Matías Domínguez, executive vice president of Ignis. Terzi has been working at the agency since 2007.





Publicis Brazil announced three new appointments to the agency’s leadership team. Account Director Marcelo Trivilato, Media Director Vitor Manzi and Planning Director Gustavo Leite will respectively report to the Account Director Luiz Tosi, to Media Core Director Viviana Maurman (and Area VP Miriam Shirley,) and Planning VP Eduardo Lorenzi.
Trivilato comes from DM9DDB and has served clients such as Banco Itaú, Ambev, BRF, Twitter and Mercedes-Benz.

Leite, former J. Walter Thompson, has worked for agencies such as Fischer, Ogilvy and DM9, working with brands like Vivo, Nestle, Heineken, Shell, Ford, Honda, J & J, Walmart and KitKat.

Manzi, former DM9, has worked for Fischer and Almap BBDO, serving clients such as Caixa Econômica Federal, Elma Chips, Pepsi, H2OH !, Intel, J & J and Itaú.

As of July, AGEA is making effective a series of new appointments:

Ignacio Giménez Zapiola will take over the position of Business Manager. The executive joined the company in 2013.

Javier Kraviez, will become the new Relationship Manager. Javier joined AGEA in 2000.

Maria Eugenia Amadasi will lead the Marketing Management department. Since the end of 2015, she has been collaborating as a consultant in AGEA.

André Paes de Barros is the new chief revenue officer of J. Walter Thompson Brazil. Previously, he served as president of Ampfy.






Jim Daily, Teads’ president of U.S. and Canada, has been promoted to global president. Daily has been at Teads since 2013, leading the North American Teads team.






Tahnee Farfán has been appointed Director of Strategic Planning at MullenLowe Delta, where she will be responsible for accounts such as Diners Club Ecuador, Discover, Visa Titanium, Banco Pichincha, Vespa, Indurama, among others.




Volkswagen Argentina’s unit will appoint two new managers: Cristián García Sarubbi will be named General Manager and Martín “Pepe” Sorrondegui will be appointed Sales Manager.



García Sarubbi has been working for the company since 2000.He will report to Sales & Marketing VP Hernán Vázquez. Pedro Martínez Díaz will replace Sarubbi.






Martín “Pepe” Sorrondegui will be effective July 1st. Sorrondegui joined the Company in 1999.








Kimberly-Clark has named Ignacio Seoane as the new Sales Director in Argentina. The executive will report directly to Federico Bluthgen, Country Manager Argentina. Ignacio joined the company 18 years ago.





Juan Pablo Jurado is the new CEO of WUNDERMAN LATIN AMERICA, a role from which he will lead the agency’s operations in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia.

Henry Zamarripa is the new Latin America Sales Director at Oath, Verizon’s new venture which combines its Yahoo and AOL acquisitions. Previously, he served as Sales Director for Latin America & Caribbean & Emerging Markets at Yahoo! for almost 3 years. Zamarripa is a an online sales expert & marketing professional with 19 years of experience in interactive/online media.





Humberto Cruz is the  new  Head Of Commercial Operations at Havas Media Group. Previously, he was Head of Socialyse LATAM and USH at Socialyse for almost two years.









Maggie Solé is leaving Headway Digital Argentina after almost 4 years as Global Marketing Manager.









IPG Mediabrands Peru announced the appointment of Milagros Montero as Managing Director for Initiative Peru. Prior to Initiative, Montero worked for different companies such as CENCOSUD S.A., Yell Perú – Páginas Amarillas, Telefónica Perú, entre otras.







Ignis Media Agency has reorganized its structure and will now have both off and online services. To do so, the agency has announced new appointments in its’ digital team led by Sebastian Terzi, head of digital business.Santiago Torres joined as digital project manager, Laura Traverso as a trafficker and Juan Ignacio Genisso as digital strategist.




Magdalena Carbonell is the new director of negotiation at MEC. Previously, she served as Media Director at Arena Media/Havas Media.





Havas Media Group has announced that Virginia Elias, until now responsible for the Arena agency negotiations, will also be in charge of negotiations at Forward, the holding’s network created in 2015. It will continue reporting to Mariano Filarent, head of Havas Media Group Argentina Middle Office.







Agency La Comunidad Buenos Aires has recently incorporated a planning department into its structure. The unit will be in charge of Rafael Cortés and Sol Wei.








Dentsu Aegis Network Brazil is restructuring. The agency has announced a new unit called Dentsu Creative Group, made up of Dentsu and McGarryBowen. Each agency operation will be led by Fernanda Antonelli, VP of Operations at McGarryBowen, and Mauro Rabelo, VP of Operations at Dentsu Brazil. The two executives will report to Mario D’Andrea.






The new unit will be led by Mario D’Andrea, who until now was CEO and CCO of the Brazilian office.





Walter Susini, President of McGarryBowen, will have a role in Dentsu Aegis Network content area handling all the network’s brands in Brazil.

Rita La Fico GuzzoGroupM Argentina has announced the promotion of Rita La Fico Guzzo as its new Director of Digital Trading, after leading MediaCom’s digital area for a year and a half. Rita thus joins GroupM Trading’s structure, complementing the task that today continues to lead Ms. Marita Calvo in offline media. Rita was Director of Digital Accounts at Havas Media Group.

He will lead the digital agency and report directly to Matias Dominguez, executive vice president of Ignis. In this new position, he will be responsible for planning and online media buying services, and creativity and digital innovation services for clients as well. Terzi works for the agency since 2007, when he joined as customer services assistant.


descarga (1)Maria Laura Nicotero has joined Momentum Worldwide as the Interpublic-owned brand experience agency’s president for Brazil.Ms. Nicotero was previously executive director responsible for the events business at Sao Paulo-based Meio & Mensagem, a marketing, advertising and media magazine.During her 15 years at M&M, Ms. Nicotero was in charge of Brazil’s leading ad awards and marketing events, including the Premio Cabore awards for the ad industry, media exhibition MaxiMidia, digital conference ProXXima and the Effie Awards for Brazil. Ms. Nicotero will remain on the board of Meio & Mensagem.In her first role at an agency, she succeeds Marcos Lacerda, who left Momentum last month to become chief marketing officer of Banco Original, a bank that is part of Brazilian industrial group J&F . She will report to Kevin McNulty, president, international markets for Momentum Worldwide, part of McCann Worldgroup.At Momentum, whose clients in Brazil include Nissan, Microsoft Corp., and Sprint-owned Nextel Communications, she’ll lead the agency’s efforts including sports and entertainment, shopper marketing, experiential, and data and analytics.

descarga (2)Aldo Canchaya, Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather Perú for almost a decade, has announced he is leaving the agency to pursue some personal projects. Canchaya began his career as an editor at Grey, OgilvyOne and Leo Burnett. In 2005, he joined Ogilvy as DCE. Some of the clients for whom he worked are Kimberly Clark, Unilever, Kraft, HSBC, LG, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Motorola, Terra, GSK, British American Tobacco (BAT), Castrol, Telefonica and Gillette.


descarga (3)DM9DDB has appointed Paulo Coelho creative director to work with the agency’s entire portfolio. The new CD will report to Arício Fortes, VP executive creative director of the shop. Coelho comes from Ogilvy Brazil, where he was for only eight months as executive CD. In his new role, Coelho will serve customers such as Banco Itaú, C & A, Johnson & Johnson, TAM, Walmart and Whirlpool, among others.

He will be responsible for the coordination, supervision and organization of the team for the brand. He currently lectures at UCES (Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales) in Buenos Aires.
