Roberto del Campo is retiring from his position as marketing director to be the new customer experience manager of Italika Mexico. Before joining the company the executive worked at Grupo Salinas and Jafra Cosmetics.






Eduardo Pereyra is the new president of  Coca-Cola Femsa Colombia. Pereyra has more than twenty years of experience in the company and previously, was commercial VP in Brazil and Venezuela and also commercial manager in Mexico City.






Volvo Argentina has hired marketer Juan Navarro as general manager. Navarro joins from Toyota where he held the role of marketing manager and prior to that, he worked at Peugeot for eleven years.






Sebastian Sommer has been named retail and marketing director of the spanish company, Neinver. He has more than twenty years of experience and joined Neinver in 2010 as director of Germany.





Germán Soracco has been appointed as senior manager  of business partners and partnerships for Latin America by Red Hat. He has been part of the company for more than ten years and previously worked at Oracle and Aon Risks.

Jorge Hidalgo has joined Hemisphere Media Group as SVP of Operations.  Hidalgo will be responsible for Hemisphere’s technical operations with a focus on its Latin American businesses.






Beatriz Torres has been appointed as the new marketing director of Dior Iberia, reported AdLatina. Beatriz previously worked at Sephora for more than seven years, where she was in charge of the marketing and communications departments.






Dominican company Scotia Crecer AFP has hired Marcela Giraldo as the new general manager. Giraldo comes from the Bogota-based company Colfondos SA where she served as VP of Marketing.






Francisco Balbuena has been named revenue growth management & analytics director of LCBU (Latin Center Business Division) of Coca-Cola, reported AdLatina. He had previously worked at Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana and Phillip Morris International.






Red Hat has just appointed Mercedes Calvo as their new marketing regional manager  and will be in charge of the Regional Demand Center for Latin America. Also, Andres Indaverea has been named public relations and social media regional manager.

Mariano Otero has been promoted to general manager at Uber for the Southern Cone region. He had previously worked as general manager in Argentina.






Juan Varela is now business development and project manager at El Observador Uruguay. His main role consists of designing and implementing a new freemium business model and premium product for the digital subscription.





Burger King has named Citlali Mateos as new marketing manager for the Mexico region, reported AdLatina. She will be filling this new role from Burger King’s offices in Tijuana.






Best Buy has appointed Ricardo Rivera as head of marketing, PR and institutional relations in Mexico. Before his appointment, he had worked for Procter & Gamble during a decade.






Home-appliance firm Haier has named Francisco Marco as marketing manager. He will oversee all major-appliance operations in Spain.






Red Hat had named Manuel Jiménez as their new marketing manager for the Andean region, Central America, and the Caribbean. He will lead all marketing strategies, which will be more collaborative and better addressed to current demands of the technological market.





Diageo has appointed José Luis Eyzaguirre as new regional manager of their whisky brands, as reported by AdLatina. He will be based in Lima, where he’ll manage the brands Johnnie Walker, Old Parr, White Horse, J&B and Vat69 for Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile.

Carlos Bustos_01Red Hat, Inc., provider of open source solutions, has announced the appointment of Carlos Bustos as Country Manager of Red Hat in Chile. In this role, Burns will be in charge of all operations in Chile and will help to develop Red Hat presence regionally. He will report to Germán Soracco, regional director for South America, Central America and the Caribbean Region. Carlos comes to Red Hat with an extensive experience in the technology industry, after having  worked in companies like Novared, Microsoft and AT&T Latin America.

Guido will lead operations of both agencies, with the aim of maintaining identity and independence of each of them. Prior to this appointment, Guido was Managing Director at Vizeum.



descarga (1)Following Guillermo Tafets departure last November, Starcom  MediaVest Group Argentina has announced the appointment of Guillermo Bonmatí as CEO of the company. Bonmatí will be based in Buenos Aires, where he will direct operations and report to Monica Gadsby, CEO US Multicultural and LatAm. Bonmatí has been part of SMG since 2008. Most recently, he was director of the Coca-Cola account for Latin America.

Lena will head Nlab, a partnership between WMcCann and FLAGCX, which acts as an integrated media and business intelligence team to boost strategies for the Nestlé brand. With over 15 years of experience, Lena comes from DM9DDB. She will focus on Nestlé.

França will be media director for Latam Airlines and MasterCard accounts. Prior to LOV, he served as VP of digital media. He also served in Nestlé Brazil, where he was responsible for leading the brand communication of the company.
